一、活动介绍

世界城市日（10月31日）是联合国首个以城市为主题的国际日。2026年世界城市日全球主场活动落地福州。本次活动面向全球发起“我的城市，我的家”影像征集，号召全球公众拿起镜头，以“双手比框”为统一手势，围绕“更新赋能 宜居筑梦”年度主题，共同记录城市发展变迁，定格美好生活图景。

面向全球公开征集。个人、家庭、社区、学校、社会组织等均可参与。

四、征集时间

自发布之日起至2026年10月14日23:59（北京时间，UTC+8）

五、作品要求

突出主题：作品需紧扣“更新赋能 宜居筑梦”年度主题，充分彰显“人人参与”的核心理念，抒发对城市的真挚热爱，传递对美好家园的向往与期许。

内容要求：内容弘扬正能量、格调积极向上，展现城市美好风貌，不得侵害任何第三方合法权益。投稿作品应为参与者本人拍摄或已依法取得完整授权的影像作品。

形式统一：以“双手比框”为标志性动作，将具有代表性的城市生活场景框入画面，形成具有辨识度和传播力的全球共同参与符号。

台词要求：视频拍摄时鼓励配以结合年度主题及所拍摄城市元素的口述台词，参考句式：这是我的城市，生活越来越宜居等。照片投稿无需口播。

鼓励分享：可附带简短文字说明，介绍所在城市、拍摄地点，阐述选取该场景的城市更新或宜居内涵，讲述个人与城市的故事。

拍摄规格：照片、视频画幅可采用9:16（竖版）或16:9（横版）。单条视频时长不少于5秒，建议采用4K分辨率拍摄；照片分辨率建议不低于1080P高清标准。

六、投稿方式

投稿要求：作品形式可为照片或视频。可通过抖音或者邮箱方式投稿。

七、有效投稿的认定规则

作品用指定方式提交，且全部符合作品各项要求，方可认定为有效投稿。

八、入选奖励

入选官方成果视频的投稿人，可获赠主办方定制伴手礼一份。

九、成果展示

征集作品将择优制作成官方成果视频，用于世界城市日相关主题活动、宣传展示及公共传播。优秀作品将在福州主场及国内、五大洲有关城市公共大屏联动展播，并在世界城市日开幕式现场发布。

十、投稿者权益说明

投稿人一旦提交有效投稿，即视为已完整阅读、充分理解并自愿遵守本次征集活动全部规则要求。

1.投稿人权利声明

1.1投稿人应保证所提交内容为其本人拍摄或已依法取得完整、合法的授权（包括但不限于肖像权、著作权等），不得侵犯任何第三方合法权益。投稿人须对所提交内容的真实性、合法性承担全部责任。

1.2投稿作品的著作权及其他知识产权，除相关条款明确授权主办方使用的部分外，均归投稿人所有。投稿人投稿行为不改变其作为著作权人的法律地位。

2.未采用作品的处理

未被主办方最终采用为官方成果视频的投稿作品，其全部知识产权仍归投稿人所有。

3.被采用作品的授权范围

作品一经入选官方成果视频，即视为投稿人不可撤销地、独占性地许可主办单位在世界城市日相关公益宣传、展示及活动中使用该作品，包括但不限于复制、发行、展览、信息网络传播、汇编等用途，并许可主办方为适应不同传播平台和展示场景需要进行适当的剪辑与格式调整。

4.入选作品的激励与奖励

入选官方成果视频的投稿人将获得主办方定制伴手礼一份。该激励视为对投稿人授权使用的合理对价。领取激励后，投稿人不得就入选作品额外主张许可费。

Call for Visual Submissions for the World Cities Day Campaign (Fuzhou): My City, My Home

I. About the Campaign

World Cities Day (31 October) is the first United Nations international day dedicated to cities. In 2026, Fuzhou will host the Global Observance of World Cities Day. As part of the Observance, the My City, My Home campaign will invite people around the world to capture their cities through photos and videos, using a shared hand-framing gesture. Centred on the annual theme Regenerating the City: Adequate Housing for All, the campaign will document the transformation of cities and capture moments that reflect better and more liveable urban life.

III. Eligible Participants

The call for submissions is open to participants worldwide. Individuals, families, communities, schools, social organizations and other groups are welcome to participate.

IV. Submission Period

From the date of publication until 23:59 on 14 October 2026 (Beijing Time, UTC+8)

V. Submission Requirements

Theme: Submissions should closely reflect the annual theme Regenerating the City: Adequate Housing for All and embody the spirit of broad public participation. They should express a genuine appreciation for the city and convey people’s aspirations for better, more liveable communities.

Content Requirements: Content should be positive in tone, convey constructive values, showcase the best of urban life and the cityscape, and must not infringe upon the legal rights and interests of any third party. Submissions must be filmed or photographed by the participants themselves, or be materials for which they have obtained full and lawful authorization.

Format: Participants should use the signature hand-framing gesture to frame representative scenes of urban life, creating a distinctive, recognizable and sharable visual symbol of shared global participation.

Verbal Cue: When recording the video, participants are encouraged to include a short spoken message that reflects the annual theme and incorporates elements of the city being featured. Suggested wording includes: “This is my city,” “Life here is becoming more liveable,” etc. No spoken message is required for photo submissions.

Sharing Encouraged: Participants are encouraged to include a brief caption introducing their city and filming location, explaining how the selected scene reflects urban regeneration or liveability, and sharing a personal story about their relationship with the city.

Technical Specifications: Photos and videos may be submitted in either 9:16 vertical or 16:9 horizontal format. Each video should be at least 5 seconds long, with 4K native resolution recommended. Photos should ideally have a minimum resolution of 1080p (or 1920x1080 pixels).

VI. How to Submit

Submission requirements: Entries may be submitted as either photos or videos, and may be submitted via Douyin or the designated email address.

VII. Criteria for Valid Submissions

A submission will be considered valid only if it is submitted through the designated method and fully complies with all submission requirements.

VIII. Rewards for Selected Submissions

Participants whose submissions are selected for inclusion in the official campaign video will receive a customized souvenir from event hosts.

IX. Showcase of Selected Submissions

Selected submissions will be curated and incorporated into the official campaign video for use in World Cities Day-related events, promotional showcases and public communications. Outstanding submissions will be featured at the World Cities Day opening ceremony and, on the same day, screened on public displays at the main venue in Fuzhou as well as in selected cities across China and across five continents.

X. Contributor Rights and Terms

By making a valid submission, the participant shall be deemed to have fully read, understood and voluntarily agreed to comply with all rules and requirements of this call for submissions.

1. Participant Rights and Representations

1.1 Participants shall ensure that all submitted content has been photographed or filmed by themselves, or that they have obtained full and lawful authorization to use such content, including but not limited to rights of portrait and copyright. Submissions must not infringe upon the lawful rights or interests of any third party. Participants shall bear full responsibility for the authenticity and legality of the content they submit.

1.2 Except for the rights expressly licensed to event hosts under the relevant provisions of these rules, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the submitted works shall remain with the participants. Submission of a work shall not alter the participant’s legal status as the copyright holder.

2. Treatment of Works Not Selected

For submissions that are not ultimately selected by the hosts for inclusion in the official campaign video, all intellectual property rights shall remain with the participants.

3. Scope of Licence for Selected Works

Once a submission is selected for inclusion in the official campaign video, the participant shall be deemed to have granted the hosts an irrevocable and exclusive licence to use the work for World Cities Day-related public-interest communications, displays and activities. Such use may include, but is not limited to, reproduction, distribution, exhibition, communication through information networks and compilation. The participant also authorizes the hosts to make reasonable edits and format adjustments to the work as necessary for different communication platforms and display settings.

4. Incentives and Rewards for Selected Works

Participants whose submissions are selected for inclusion in the official campaign video will receive a customized souvenir from the hosts. This souvenir shall constitute reasonable consideration for the licence granted by the participant. Upon receipt of the souvenir, the participant shall not be entitled to claim any additional licensing fees in respect of the selected work.

Any matters not covered by this call for submissions shall be subject to interpretation by the organizers of the Global Observance of World Cities Day 2026.
